Pakhlava has always been favorably different from custard tubes with cream and boiled sweet corn, which were certainly kept in a bag of good-natured aunt. Pahlava consists of puff pastry, syrup and nuts - this is a standard set of ingredients that can vary.
Traditionally, dessert is fed to the spring holiday "Novruz" (celebrated by Iranian and Turkic peoples), but the current popularity of Pakhlava has shifted accent. Today it can be found in any supermarket at a fairly affordable price.
